The Thien Thien Lai Chinese Restaurant is located at the heart of Jakarta’s Chinatown - GLODOK in Indonesia that has the largest number of ethnic Chinese in the world.

Its operator knows that beside delicious and varied Chinese cuisine, dining experience such as ambient lighting is also an essential part to entice patrons to stay longer and spend more. To create a more attractive and comfortable dining experience, the operator chose HDL automation system to upgrade the lighting system of the restaurant.

The restaurant has installed HDL Buspro automation system to achieve effective  control of the ambient lighting. Buspro system is independently developed by HDL, which enables the control of lighting, shading, HVAC, floor heating, audio and video entertainment, security, etc. It is suitable for residential, office buildings, urban complex, large venues, hotels, and other commercial buildings, so that it is  available to achieve various users’ ends.

The system enables the centralized control over all lights in the restaurant to meet the needs in various occasions, such as business hours, dining hours, party hours, etc. And working with HDL logic modules,it is allowed to schedule devices to run at optimal times during the day or at night so as to facilitate management and stop wasting energy.

Staff can easily control the connected lights of different areas on DLP panels. The DLP supports 147 languages and customizable icons and captions, and its LCD directly indicates the control contents, making it easy for staff to operate.

To improve the management efficiency, the staff are able to remotely control the lighting system on mobile devices as well, such as smart phones or tablets that have downloaded HDL ON app. They can quickly turn on/off a single device or multiple ones by one touch. 

The lighting automation system helps the restaurant to adjust the brightness and levels of lighting according to different scenes to create a comfortable ambience, which not only takes the dining experience to a new level, but improves the management efficiency and reduces energy use and operating costs.
