On May 28, another HDL smart hotel, Holiday Inn Zhengzhou High-Tech Zone officially opened. It is the first hospitality project invested by Zhengzhou High-tech Industries Investment Co., Ltd., and it is also the first Holiday Inn of InterContinental Hotels Group plc in Zhengzhou High-tech Zone, China.

Holiday Inn Zhengzhou High-tech Zone has 260 luxury and comfortable guestrooms and suites, a grand ballroom of approximately 1,000 square meters, an All-day dining, multi-functional meeting rooms, a gym and so on. In order to help further improve customers’ experience, HDL has tailored a smart hotel solution for the hotel, and all of its 260 guestrooms are equipped with HDL Buspro RCU control system.

Applying 51CH Dry Contact Modules and 22CH Hotel Room Mix Control Modules, the smart system can easily control all lamps in the guestrooms and set a variety of scene modes according to different needs. So, when the card is inserted, the guest will be automatically identified, the lights in the room will be turned on in sequence with the steps and the brightness will be automatically adjusted. The guest is welcomed with the most comfortable environment.

At the same time, if all the equipment is connected to HDL hotel automation system, various scene modes can be preset, such as "Meeting Mode", "Bright Mode", "Sleep Mode", "All-off Mode". In this way, the guest can only touch one button to control kinds of devices at once, which is simple and interesting. 

The public areas are often the essential part of a hotel seen by a guest, so the control and management of lighting of the reception, hallway and functional areas cannot be ignored. HDL has installed an intelligent lighting system for the entire hotel to meet the needs of lighting in different situations through customized intelligent dimming control and scene management, so that it can realize both guest comfort and energy-saving.

The HDL intelligent lighting control system mainly adopted 6CH 10A 0-10V ballast dimming actuators and MOSFET dimming actuators. With the application of the intelligent dimming modules and the logic automation modules, the system will apply different lighting modes according to the light in different time, so that the hotel public areas always maintain the softest and most elegant lighting effect. At the same time, to effectively reduce energy costs, the lighting fixtures can be automatically turned off or dimmed when an area is unoccupied, and return to normal state when approached by people.

In addition, HDL also provided intelligent lighting management software. Hotel staff can monitor and manage the state of the lighting equipment in real time through the software and easily change the dimming modes on different occasions, which greatly improves the convenience and efficiency of hospitality management.
